VCA Digital Portal Launch – GB Provisional Applications

We are embarking on a transformation to modernise the way we work and how we deliver services to our customers. In preparation for the expansion of the GB Provisional Scheme for NRMM Engines, Trailer and Component manufacturers, we are launching a new digital self-serve portal in early October. The new portal will allow customers to submit, manage and track the progress of their GB Provisional Scheme Approval applications. Everyone should use this application route, including those applying to the Provisional Scheme for the first time. Other services will be added to the portal in the future.

We’ve designed our new portal to be simple and intuitive. From the ‘Type Approval’ page of the VCA website, customers wishing to process GB Provisional Scheme approvals will be directed to a dedicated page to register for a digital account. The link will be available early in October. To register for an account, customers will be asked to supply their contact details. This will be followed-up by an email with an activation link and with a prompt to create an account password to access the portal.
